Who we are
We are the UCSD chapter of
Universities Allied for Essential Medicines,
an advocacy group that seeks to improve global health by influencing university policies nationwide.
Our primary goals are to ameliorate the research and access gaps that prevent drugs from being developed
for and reaching the poor.

The main reason that our membership is moderated is because several 'people' or
robots have joined in the past and then spammed the group. This is no longer a problem.
