About Me
I promise I'll keep this short! I was born and raised in Glendale, California (in Los Angeles County). After high school, I left home and enrolled at the University of California at Berkeley and graduated in December of 2000, with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. On June 11, 2001, I was commissioned into the United States Navy as a junior officer. I subsequently served in the U.S. Navy for four years, in San Diego, California. During this time, I met my lovely wife, Daniela. We were married on November 6, 2004, in the sunny San Diego district of Pacific Beach. In July of 2005, I transferred to the Naval Reserve and enrolled at the University of California at San Diego, as a Ph.D. student, in the Department of Chemistry. I expect to complete my Ph.D. in May 2009 and moveon soon thereafter.
In November of 2007, we gave birth to our lovely son, Lucas Alexander. He's growing very fast, and we're having a lot of fun trying to keep up with him! (I have more pictures, please email me for the link).
